“It was a very cold night, we spent playing cards in our bungalow lost in the prairie in the south of the island. The forecast hit us completely, the ghostly fluorescent green trail of the Northern Lights pampered us for hours, pushing us to go out and indoors to warm up every few minutes. The next morning, from the dark horizon of a land still numbed by the chill of darkness, the sun seemed rising for hours, in an unreal atmosphere between dawn and dusk. Our car was already speeding as we left heading towards the glacier.”
